Loggias, seen from an architectural point of view, are in the first place open halls or passageways in houses. This includes balconies with a window-like opening. Such loggias can be made cat-safe relatively easily.
Roof loggias are e.g. roof terraces that are embedded into the roof. These loggias are relatively difficult to fasten, since in most cases they cannot be drilled into the roof lining. Also, in many cases, no handrails are available to which the telescopic rods could be fastened.
